At Strategy Strolls, we welcome walkers of all abilities and backgrounds, and we're committed to creating a respectful, supportive space for everyone, whatever your age, ability, background, or circumstances. We strive to make the outdoors, and outdoor networking, accessible to all.
Walk Information
Nowton Park is an accessible county park. Where possible, we plan our routes to avoid difficult terrain, significant elevation, narrow gates, and with a maximum walking time of around 30 minutes before a break. Please note that ground conditions can vary with the weather - grass and natural surfaces may be softer or wetter underfoot at certain times of year, even on our regular routes.
Pace
We walk at the pace of our slowest group member. Our facilitators are always on hand to make sure no one is left behind.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome on all of our walks.
Hidden and Non-Visible Conditions
We know that not every access need is visible. Whether it's a sensory impairment, neurodivergence, a chronic health condition, or a mental health consideration, we want you to feel just as comfortable sharing this with us as any physical requirement.
Adjustments
We'll modify routes and our approach wherever possible to accommodate specific needs. Please just let us know in advance so we can plan ahead. Any adjustments we're able to make are provided at no extra cost to you.
Get in Touch
We encourage you to share any accessibility requirements or concerns with us before your first walk. Please contact Jo or Ruth in advance to make sure your experience is safe, comfortable, and enjoyable.
